I would like to Thank everyone that contributed to my being named the

2008 Carolinas Section PGA Teacher of the Year.

It is truly an honor that is totally overwhelming and humbling given the quality of golf professionals in

The Carolinas PGA Section.  I sincerely Thank you and will do my best to make your choice a worthy one!

Brad Clayton's Golf Zone

Brad Clayton is a PGA of America Master Teaching Professional with over 22 years of teaching experience, a seasoned professional who has dedicated his life to improving his golf skills and those of his students.

His Practice Center in Oxford, North Carolina, The Golf Zone has a laser graded Tiff 419 Bermuda teeing area and each station in accompanied by a bag stand, a chair, and an alignment aid.  There are six target greens with laser read yardage and two pitching greens, each with a sand bunker, one deep and one shallow.

One of the more unique aspects of The Golf Zone is its' covered heated and fanned building for hitting balls in inclement weather.   There are three hitting stations for the general public and two private for instruction.  This allows for instruction and practice in any weather hot or cold, rain or shine {exception of lightning}.

Give the gift of better golf

One of the greatest gifts you can give is the gift of golf. The benefits and positives are too numerous to count. As we should all know, you can not buy a better golf game through equipment. It may be fun trying, but it can also be quite expensive, confusing, and non productive.  No matter what kind of clubs are in your hands you still must be able to swing the club along the correct path and understand the rotation of the clubface.

Giving the gift of a "golf swing and game" however, is one that will last and is sure to bring a smile to the face of someone special. It is also a great gift for yourself. Look over the Learning Programs and find the correct fit for those that are special and/or yourself.

You can and will improve if you identify what needs to improve, create a plan to improve, and spend a little time working on it with positive direction.

Please feel free to call or email me and I will be happy to help you get started by making some realistic goals, identifying what you need to work on, and helping you map out a plan to get there.

Remember, you do not have to work at it like a tour pro for eight to ten hours a day. A simple fifteen minutes a day will go a long way toward getting you to your goals if you are practicing with direction and a purpose. Getting better is fun
